CodeSentry
What it demonstrates: Developer documentation, GraphQL APIs, installation and deployment, cybersecurity, SaaS and on-premises software, docs-as-code.
As the technical writer assigned to CodeSentry, I owned its customer-facing documentation and worked as an embedded member of the Agile product team. The sample includes UI documentation, developer-facing GraphQL API content, and installation procedures.
My work on CodeSentry also included hands-on product and API testing, collaboration with Engineering, QA, Support, and DevOps, and documentation development using Markdown, GitLab, Linux, Docker, and CI/CD workflows.

How I Work
- Get hands-on with the product rather than relying solely on specifications or SME explanations.
- Work directly with engineers and product managers to resolve ambiguity before it reaches the documentation.
- Write for the audience and task, whether that's a developer working with an API, an administrator configuring a system, or an end user learning a feature.
- Treat documentation as part of the product experience and flag confusing behavior, UX issues, and defects discovered while documenting.
- Use AI where it improves research, organization, editing, and consistency while keeping technical judgment and final authorship with the writer.
